Opus 5.5 outpaced pricier flagship models, open source ran out of steam again, and Jev shows how cheap decision-making in agentic systems can be. Plus a proof of a Millennium Problem and the first attack led by a model.

With iPhone Duo, the era in which an app was designed for one screen shape and the other was just tweaked to fit is over. As of iOS 27, your app will be resizable whether you asked for it or not. We've written up what more, and more variable, space means for both design and product.

The bar isn't being raised by Apple alone anymore. Everyone is doing it. The foldable iPhone, the EU Cyber Resilience Act, and the end of anonymous sideloading on Android all carry one message: 'it works' is no longer enough.

Futured has been named a Summer 2026 Clutch Global Award winner for Kotlin Development, placing us among the top 15 companies worldwide based on verified client reviews.

Most companies today know that artificial intelligence could, or should, be put to use SOMEHOW. But how do you find the specific spot where it genuinely helps? How do you use AI so that tasks which today take people hours are cut down to a fraction of the time?

Apple has tightened its App Store rules: apps without real value no longer belong on the store. The App News newsletter by Lukáš Strnadel, founder and CEO of Futured, exclusively on our website for the first time.

On June 3 and 4, mDevCamp takes place at Holešovická tržnice in Prague – the largest Czech conference focused on mobile development. The twelfth edition welcomes more than 30 speakers from across Europe, with a programme covering iOS, Android, Flutter, and Kotlin Multiplatform.

Víme, kde AI opravdu šetří čas a kde iterace spolknou víc, než čekáte.

Futured vstupuje do nové etapy.

Naše redakce sepsala vše podstatné z pozice iOS, Android, KMP a full-stack vývojářů, QA i designérů.

Hot tech news is here. We have written down everything that has clattered our noses and keyboards in recent weeks in mobile and web development.

Rembrand is our B2B AI portrait creation tool that provides wide possibilities for personalization and integration. It introduces a new way to engage customers and event goers with stylish photos, helping to strengthen the brand and build a love brand.

On mobile and the web, the first and last interaction of the customer with the company often happens. For application development, this means that you need a full-stack team, that is, developers controlling both front-end and back-end. The development of mobile and web applications is crucial for many companies today.

Technology debt is a situation where application code becomes obsolete and difficult to sustain. Why does it need to be addressed? And how to start? We have listed 5 steps that will guide you.

Today, automated testing is considered an essential part of software development. How to introduce it into development? Be inspired by our experience.

Futured Coin (FUC) is a fictional currency whose flow is controlled by all the people in Futured. The unconventional variable reward system, which is decided not by one person, but by all co-workers, originated during the Futured Hackathon.

We won the hackathon organized by ŠKODA Auto. What attracted us to the jury, which included representatives of Audi, Porsche, Bentley and other Volkswagen Group brands?

Lead the project in an agile way, or as FTFP (fix time fix price)? This is a discussion that we often have with clients before starting cooperation. At Futured, we're passionate about agile development and we'll explain why.

Approximately one in seven people live with some form of disability that changes the way they interact with their surroundings, so it is extremely important to strive to make the resulting product as accessible as possible when developing the application. Screen reader, text enlargement, closed captions — these are just some of the features you can imagine under the popular term accessibility.

We won the prestigious award for the best mobile app developers. Why does it make us so happy?

He started with us as a junior, now he leads the entire Android team. We talked with Martin Sumera about technologies in which he sees the future, asked him why internal education is his top priority, and together we visited the center of the universe.

After the reconstruction of the historic building, the National Museum comes with another novelty that will be appreciated by both small and large visitors. The new mobile application that we have developed for a major museum institution offers them a tailor-made experience thanks to interactive and audiovisual elements. The More.is.more game studio has created a plugin for the app that uses augmented reality to bring to life a balding mouse that ran around in the ocean 200 years ago.

Gabriela Bušinová is a student of Interactive Media Theory at Masaryk University, who has completed a five-month internship with us. Under the guidance of designer Vojta Ryšánek, she tried to design the design of a mobile application for lovers of choice coffee. We met Gabča (outside Figma) and confessed her a little.

The security of a mobile app is not a good idea at first, but ensuring that users' data is safe is absolutely crucial. At Futured, we work with three basic security levels and one extension. In the following we will describe to you how we have defined them and how we work with them.

A few weeks ago, the Worthy Goblin application was added to our corporate Slack. He appreciates everyone who cares about making sure we have a nice time together in the offices. Our iOS developer Radek Doležal is behind the idea, who programmed it during the Futured Hackathon. When we wrote about her on Instagram, she liked you a lot, so we asked Radka to tell us more about her.

Competition grows and whoever gets the job done faster wins. Process optimization is something that a good mobile application can help a business with. It saves time for employees and big money for the company. We've written down other reasons to start thinking about it, and added examples of apps to help our clients get a head start.

Two new branches and a million-dollar investment in offices at a time when other companies are rather leaving them. With Lukáš Strnadl, founder of Futured, we talked about the stagnation of the company and the changes that were necessary for it to breathe and be able to grow.

Simona, the beating heart of Futured. Despite the fact that her work is not good to see on the outside at first, indirectly she signs herself on everything we work on. She is our HR and everyone on the team went through her hands. At the same time, we never talked to her about the challenges of her job — like how hard it is today to find senior people who fit into the company culture and who you want to have a beer with. (And is it even needed?)
