We built a new generation of Kaktus and Mobil.cz apps with a shared tech core and distinct brand identities. A modular ecosystem that combines development efficiency with a personalised user experience.
T-Mobile was facing a common issue: both apps were sinking deeper into tech debt. Instead of patching things up, we proposed a full rebuild. The goal? Strike a balance between a shared tech base and the unique vibe of each brand. The result is a solution that cuts costs while keeping the user experience sharp.
Both apps run on the same core, sharing most of the code — but their interfaces are tailored to match each brand. Thanks to modular architecture, updates and bug fixes apply to both apps at once. And yes, the system meets MASVS security standards.
The new setup significantly cut T-Mobile’s development and maintenance costs. Unified technology means faster and more efficient feature rollouts. Both apps deliver consistent quality while maintaining their unique look and feel. And the best part? The system is future-ready — new apps can be plugged in without starting from scratch.
